Probabilistic Graphical Models 1: Representation
This one-week, accelerated online course introduces the user to the basic concepts and methods of probabilistic graphical models (PGMs). We’ll learn about the basics of how a PGM is represented, how to interpret data in PGM-based models, and how to find the best representation for any problem. We’ll also learn about various topics in mathematics that we’ll cover in this course: graph algorithms, object-orientedness, rank/ascertainty bounds, graph-based data visualization, and more. The course is designed to rapidly get you up and running with the basics of PGM-based modeling and data visualization. You’ll work through a series of projects, each one being roughly one hour in length. Each project will require you to use the exercises and hands-on labs to practice and expand your programming skills. You’ll work through a series of hands-on labs that will test your understanding and programming skills. Each lab will also involve working through a series of programming challenges. In the end of this course, you’ll have a stable foundation for programming more efficiently and creatively in Python than in Java.Introduction to Probabilistic Graphical Models

Procrastination and Avoiding It
This is a course about avoiding repetition. You will learn how to avoid procrastinating, and you will learn why. We’ll also look at many common avoidance strategies, including time management, planning, and prioritization. We will cover topics such as planning ahead, setting goals, and setting realistic expectations. We will also look at strategies that can help you avoid situations in which you have to make a decision, and why certain actions are more likely to work than others. This is the first part of a two-part course.Week 1: Avoiding Procrastination
Week 2: Planning Ahead
Week 3: Time Management
Week 4: Define Consequences and Avoiding Fallacies
Procrastination, Anxiety and Depression
Procrastination and anxiety are common, debilitating and even fatal anxiety disorders. Diagnosed with these disorders, you will learn why they are and how they are treated. You will also learn about treatment options that may help you to overcome them.

This course is part of the 5-course Specialization: Psychotherapy of Anxiety. If you wish to receive credit for this course, you will need to pass the course and complete the “Course Certificate” component, which requires you to pass a series of graded quizzes and a final exam. You can access the course materials at any time by going to the “Literature” link in the upper right hand corner and copying and pasting the following link into your
